Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly respected company within the building services sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to secure ongoing work with excellent hourly rates and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial site.
Responding promptly to emergency call-outs and resolving faults efficiently.
Undertaking a variety of mechanical and electrical duties, including:

Minor installations and electrical fault-finding
Lamp and ballast replacements
Control panel inspections and maintenance
Power distribution checks
Emergency lighting tests and repairs
Servicing air conditioning systems (AHUs and FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning.
Monitoring and resetting chillers.
Performing routine water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and monitoring.
Maintaining pumps and motors.
Taking regular readings from Building Management Systems (BMS) and UPS systems.Candidate Requirements
Recognised mechanical trade qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent).
