What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and create effective treatment plans, adapting them based on multi-disciplinary discussions and patient feedback.
  • Deliver interventions informed by the latest evidence and practice guidelines to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice for complex cases and lead on advanced clinical problem-solving.
  • Spearhead a specialist area within the physiotherapy team in collaboration with the clinical lead.
  • Actively participate within the multi-disciplinary team to support individuals using the BIRT neurobehavioural and neuropsychological models.
  • Mentor and supervise students, assistants, and colleagues to enhance their clinical effectiveness.

About you

We are seeking a professional with a Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the HCPC, and with a Practice Placement qualification or willingness to achieve this within the first year. You should have substantial experience with neurological deficits, including acquired brain injury, and a strong foundation in neurophysiotherapy principles. With at least 4 years of post-registration experience, you are equipped with specialist knowledge in neurorehabilitation and are willing to travel as needed.
