Overview

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Robotics Software Engineer to lead the design,

development, and deployment of advanced robotic systems. In this role, you’ll shape

core software architecture, guide technical strategy, and collaborate across

disciplines to bring intelligent, reliable, and scalable robotic solutions to life. You’ll

work at the intersection of autonomy, perception, and real-time systems, helping

push the boundaries of what our robots can understand and achieve.

Key Responsibilities

 Architect, implement, and optimize software for autonomous robotic platforms, including perception, planning, and control modules.

 Lead end-to-end development cycles from prototyping and simulation to field testing and production deployment.

 Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to integrate software with hardware components.

 Drive code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and continuous

improvement practices.

 Mentor junior engineers and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps.

 Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system

performance and reliability.

Qualifications

 Extensive experience developing robotics software in C++, Python, or similar

languages.

 Strong background in algorithms for perception, SLAM, motion planning, or

control.

 Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS2, real-time systems, and simulation

environments such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.

 Solid understanding of robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, dynamics, and sensor fusion.

 Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and collaborate in

multidisciplinary teams.

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical

Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.

What We’re Looking For

A creative problem solver with 5+ years industrial experience in a relevant field, who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys tackling hard technical challenges, and brings both depth and breadth in robotics. Someone who can balance big-picture thinking with meticulous engineering and who’s excited to help shape the next generation of intelligent machines.
