Ross Hall Hospital – 37.5 hours & Permanent


Salary: Up to £46,250.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)


Overview

Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. The position will be based in our Inpatients Ward working with predominantly post-surgical patients. Previous experience of orthopaedic and other ward-based rehabilitation is essential for the position. This is a full‑time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.


Duties Of This Role Include

  • Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
  • Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP, and local policy.
  • Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
  • Solid post‑registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to team working and service improvement.
