An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to join our acute and community teams at Homerton Healthcare.


This post would be suited to either a newly qualified Physiotherapist, and experienced Band 5 Physiotherapists to gain experience within a diverse and friendly rotation programme across health and social care service providers in City and Hackney.

The interview process will include a written test, and a face to face interview with one of the questions having a practical element to it.


Main duties of the job

  • elderly care
  • surgery rehabilitation
  • acute rehabilitation and respiratory management in medical wards and ITU
  • acute stroke
  • neurological rehabilitation (RNRU)
  • consultant outpatient services
  • GP referral outpatient services
  • rapid response admissions avoidance and home treatment
  • adult community rehabilitation
  • adult cardiorespiratory services
  • community paediatrics

The rotations are six months to support clinical and systems learning within each area. Successful candidates will be supported by senior staff and have access to a range of in-house training opportunities as well as regular clinical supervision.
