  • The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading and/or supporting in the engineering development projects for SEC UK in alignment with the Company's development strategy and market needs. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient delivery of Development Project to support business development through technical expertise, customer communication and satisfaction, multi‑functional team collaboration within SEC Division.
  • Responsibilities include managing the New Product Introduction using one SAFRAN Process. Ensure project scope, budget and timeline targets are met. The Project Engineer is expected to receive, define and respond to customer requirements or requests from enquiries or orders received. To design and develop technical proposals and technical dossier for new customer requirements. Consistent KPI reporting to the engineering manager is also a crucial aspect of this role.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Project Management
  • Understand, define and agree the objectives of the project with the relevant Manager (Engineering, Program or Product)
  • Create and manage work packages to deliver project deliverables
  • Produce data and documentation to support project/program reporting
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Establish and communicate a Project Plan and monitor and review actions detailed in the Plan
  • Review of Lesson Learned and ensure they are incorporated in process improvement
  • Identify and manage risks

Candidate skills & requirements



  • Engineering degree - Preferably Electrical, Mechanical
  • Experience in a design/project engineering role
  • Experience in project progress reporting, internal and customer presentations, and technical/scientific surveys.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, treatment, and design rules.
  • Involvement in RFQs and creation of technical documentation and presentations.
  • Experience of codes & requirements in Aerospace (Beneficial)
  • Awareness of aerospace and interconnect product design (Beneficial)
  • Working knowledge of CAD tool e.g. Solidworks, Catia
