Overview

Are you an experienced Band 5 or a Band 6 looking to specialise within Pelvic Health? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pelvic Health team as a Band 6 within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. This role will be supported by a team of highly trained physiotherapists along with regular CPD sessions and you will have an opportunity to build links with the wider MDT at regular meetings. The role includes specialisms within the outpatient caseload covering antenatal/postnatal patients and continence patients via 1:1 appointments and we also run a number of successful group sessions within the speciality. We are looking for a physiotherapist who has a keen interest in the management for this patient group and who has experience of working in an MSK or Pelvic Health outpatient setting, demonstrating the ability to work as part of an integrated team. This post will be situated within South Warwickshire. The team work across the area and are currently based in Leamington, Stratford, Rugby, Shipston and Southam. You must have access to a car with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in the specialist area.
  • Work as an accountable and autonomous practitioner, holding responsibility for own caseload.
  • Work in conjunction with the Pathway and Team leads in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy service within the speciality on a day to day basis.
  • Take a role in the provision of support and clinical supervision of less experienced physiotherapy staff and undergraduate students.
  • Deputise for the Team leaders as required.
  • Keep accurate records of patient contact using written records and electronic data capture.
  • Contribute to out of hours working as required.
  • Maintain own competency to practise.
