Shift and Schedule:  Day Shift / Monday to Friday (10 AM to 7 PM)

Location: Wimbledon, London


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Applicants must be eligible and authorised to live and work in the UK.

 

Experience: Motorcycle Technician: 3+ year (required)

We work harder than anyone else to keep our customers on the road and as a result of our continued success and growth we're now looking to recruit an experienced Motorcycle mechanic/technician to join our workshop team.

 

Job Description:

 

The ideal candidate should have expertise in motorcycle/bike maintenance and repairs. This role requires hands-on experience, strong technical knowledge, and leadership abilities to oversee and mentor a team of technicians in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

  • Carry out inspections and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Rebuilt engines (specifically for 125 cc engine motorcycle/bikes).
  • Manage work assignments and ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standard and in line with company specifications.
  • Perform final quality checks and tests to verify that all vehicles are ready for customer use or delivery.
  • Plan necessary work and order parts to ensure vehicles are ready as promptly as possible.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
  • Maintain working area, tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training on technical skills and best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Proven experience (3+ years) in motorcycle or motorbike vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
  • Strong engine rebuilt knowledge, specifically 125 cc engines.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, batteries, motors, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support technicians in a busy workshop environment.
  • Familiarity with workshop safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff or customers.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
