MET TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITY.

Join the prestigious Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI Group as a MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician and work at our new state of the art Approved Bodyshop in Woolwich. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to our exceptional team and advance your career with a leading company in automotive retail and aftermarket services.

YOUR ROLE.

As a MET Technician at Hedin Automotive, your primary focus will be to examine damaged vehicles, identify mechanical and electrical components that require repair or replacement, and complete repairs to meet BMW standards. Once repaired, you will ensure that final quality checks are undertaken in line with our high standards.

The main duties of the role include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults and damage
  • Remove & refit or replace various components such as mechanical items and trim
  • Demonstrate proficiency in working with engine, gearbox, suspension, and other mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Communicate effectively with Service and Parts departments
  • Keep colleagues informed on repairs requiring specialist skills, additional work, difficulties and delays

YOUR PROFILE.

  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs in a service centre or within an accident repair centre
  • Qualified MET Technician with NVQ Level 3, ATA/IMI in a relevant field, or equivalent.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and possess a clean, valid UK Driving Licence.

SALARY AND HOURS.

Competitive basic salary with an OTE of up to £60, 000 per annum. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
