LOCATION – Reading

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £28,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures bespoke products in the Motorsport industry, and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Technician. This is a permanent position, based in Reading.

Qualifications
  • Experienced working in a workshop environment
  • Mechanical Assembly and Process skills
  • Experience working with precision equipment, metallics and small fabrications
  • Able to read and work to Engineering drawings
  • Keen interest in Motorsport and Automotive industries
  • Knowledge of pipes, tubes, hoses, valves, pumps and similar equipment would be beneficial
  • Mechanical background in a workshop environment
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team player
Responsibilities
  • Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
  • Working with pipe bending machinery
  • Working to project specifications and deadlines
  • Participating in technical training
  • Working to procedures and instructions
  • Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
