Salary: £40,000 per annum plus company van and Veolia benefits


Hours: 40 hours per week plus out of hours and weekend call out rota of 1 week in 5


Location: Mobile across the Cheshire area

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on the Utilities plant.
  • Complete routine operational tasks to comply with legislation and company procedures.
  • Effective completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on a range of mechanical systems.
  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance and publication of plant quality records and reports.
  • Implementing Safe Systems of Work to include production of Permit to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's health and safety, quality and environmental procedures.

What we're looking for:

  • An engineering time served apprenticeship qualification and ONC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of carrying out multi-skilled maintenance and fault finding on industrial utilities plants.
  • Knowledge of Combined Heat & Power Plant, Steam Boiler plant to aid operations, maintenance and fault finding.
  • Experience producing Health & Safety documentation such as Method Statement / Risk Assessments for tasks.
  • Knowledge of SCADA (BMS / PMS) and PLC systems.
  • Fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of Water Treatment plant & equipment such as Effluent Treatment, Process Water, Boiler Water.
  • You will ideally possess qualifications in some of the following areas - IOSH / CSCS Safety or equivalent, Confined Space, BOAS or equivalent, Steam Systems, Legionella Awareness, Industrial Gas Qualifications, IPAF / PASMA, Welding & Fabrication / Pipefitting.
