Overview

Mechanical Supervisor - salary £34,703, permanent position, onsite work. Location, Anglesey. Pension, Training & enhanced leave allowance available.

Responsibilities
  • Review operational performance of aircraft systems and components
  • Analyse and diagnose faults, apply technical knowledge to repair, modify, or improve procedures
  • Ensure team meets maintenance schedules, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain personal and team competencies for aircraft/component work
  • Demonstrate flexibility and proactive attitude, follow direction appropriately.
Required experience
  • Proven and competent leader with a strong track record at this level
  • Fully qualified technician with all required authorities and certifications in place
  • Demonstrates breadth of experience, currency, and recency, supported by a comprehensive logbook of skills, knowledge, and authorisations
  • Solid foundation in trade principles, complemented by practical expertise in maintenance and diagnostics
  • Extensive experience in applying aviation safety standards and ensuring safe operating practices.
  • Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or a recognised military equivalent
  • Holds a minimum academic qualification of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or an equivalent certification
  • Strong technical foundation with practical experience gained through structured training and hands on application.
