Overview

Mechanical Services Coordinator South County Down £40-45k


INFORM3 is recruiting for a Services Coordinator for an established and expanding Mechanical Contractor based in South Down.


The main focus of this role is to manage the preconstruction activities, working closely with the contracts director, main contractors and external consultancies to ensure that all designs are fit for purpose and proactively contribute towards the growth of the company’s design capabilities.


Our client is looking for a services coordinator with at least three years of experience and coming from a mechanical background.


Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for the design coordination of projects
  • Managing design planning, tracking, and delivering projects on time and budget.
  • Ensuring technical excellence across projects and opportunities from pre-project through to detailed delivery
  • Auditing the designs and identifying inconsistencies, discrepancies and missing information as well as recording, reporting and tracking
  • Manage project workflows and design documentation
  • Reviewing the development of designs regularly alongside the stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing in a similar role within the Mechanical sector
  • A background in project management, construction, design and engineering in the mechanical building services sector
  • Degree Certification in a relevant subject highly desirable
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to stay focused
  • Excellent organisational skills able to prioritise your own work, deliver on time and delegate effectively
