What awaits you

  • Installation and commissioning of individual machines in production lines.
  • Spare parts surveys to individual machines.
  • Maintenance and overhauling of machines with commissioning.
  • Installation of changeparts and upgrades with commissioning.
  • Identifying, eliminating and documenting malfunctions in consultation with technical and design departments.
  • To carry out training of customer staff on machine operation following installation.
  • Instructing and training of Apprentices.
  • Reporting & Feedback (Service reports, travel reports, warranty reports etc.)
  • To have a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
  • To be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • To be able to work with customer specific guidelines and safety instructions.
  • Time served engineer, ideally HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of the food & beverage industry as well as filling and packaging equipment preferable but not essential.
  • Previous experience of field based working preferable but not essential.
  • Good level of computer literacy and IT skills, and having used MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel), but also with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Good fault-finding capability with flexibility to consider different solutions, thinking “outside the box”.
  • Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and face to face.
  • Travel throughout the UK, Europe & Worldwide as required.
