Were looking for an experienced Mechanical Pump Engineer(Field Based) to join our esteemed, market-leading client, a specialist in pumping equipment solutions with over 60 years of industry expertise in the Orpington area!

You'll work closely alongside a skilled Electrical Engineer to respond to breakdowns, perform servicing, and handle installation and commissioning of a wide range of pumping systems.

This role is ideal for someone mechanically biased with hands-on experience in pumps, valves, pipework, water treatment, drainage, or utilities.

What youll be doing

• Carry out mechanical servicing, installations, and commissioning of equipment including pumps, valves, pipework, pumping stations, kiosks, etc
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to optimise performance
• Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns
• Complete detailed site reports and log progress
• Ensure health & safety compliance on all tasks
