Crown House Technologies are currently delivering the full MEP scope for the Ellison Institute of Technology's Oxford Campus – a world-class facility combining over 30,000m² of research laboratories, an oncology and wellness clinic, and collaborative spaces focused on solving humanity's most pressing challenges. We're now looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join the delivery team. What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the mechanical engineering delivery activities, providing technical oversight from design through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Managing and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating closely with project managers, planners, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Reviewing complex mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
  • Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring all mechanical works comply with health and safety legislation and company standards.
  • Identifying and implementing innovative engineering solutions, best practices, and continuous improvements.
  • Supporting project close-out processes, including quality assurance and documentation handover.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline, with substantial experience in mechanical engineering delivery on large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience working on highly regulated sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, or high-tech manufacturing projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, installation methods, and commissioning best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.
