We are recruiting for a Mechanical Manager to join a well-established main contractor delivering two high-profile schemes in Mayfair.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong building services background who is confident managing MEP packages through design, procurement, delivery and handover on complex commercial or hospitality projects.


Current projects include:

  • £15m MEP office fit out

  • £17m MEP hotel refurbishment

The role:

Working as part of the project delivery team, you will take responsibility for the management of mechanical or electrical packages while working closely with the wider MEP, design and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing mechanical or electrical packages from pre-construction through to completion

  • Coordinating design information with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams

  • Overseeing procurement, subcontractor management and technical submissions

  • Monitoring programme, progress and site performance

  • Driving quality, health and safety, and compliance across your packages

  • Managing testing, commissioning, snagging and handover

  • Identifying and resolving technical and delivery issues on site

  • Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders


What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Manager, or a strong Senior Engineer ready to step up

  • Mechanical bias with a solid understanding of wider MEP delivery

  • Experience delivering commercial fit out, refurbishment, hotel or other high-spec building projects

  • Able to manage packages through design, procurement, installation and handover

  • Strong technical and coordination skills

  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of programme management

  • HNC, HND or degree qualified in a relevant mechanical or building services discipline is preferred

  • Proactive, organised and able to drive works in a fast-paced environment
