Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical FitterSalary:£45,000 - £48,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 + benefits and opportunities to progress up through their salary grades and receive enhancementHours: 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm (shift 1 and 2) / 7am to 7pm (shift 3) / 6pm to 6am (shift 4)Location: Commutable from Worcester, Bridgnorth, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Redditch and surrounding areasCompanyWe are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter to work within a manufacturing company at one of their leading automated factories. Progress up through their grades that offers salary enhancements and more responsibilities!If you're a mechanical engineer or fitter, qualified through an apprenticeship or similar, keen to secure yourself an exciting career opportunity, don't delay and apply now!Mechanical Maintenance Engineer responsibilitiesMechanical Maintenance Fitter, working a continental shift pattern of 4 days 6am till 6pm then 4 off, followed by 4 days 6am till 6pm then 4 off, followed by 4 days 7am to 7pm then 4 off, followed by 4 nights 6pm to 6am followed by 4 off. Therefore only working 4 nights in 1 month.Your role will include, although not limited to: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across a range of equipment and machinery Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs. Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.Mechanical Maintenance Engineer requirements Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualification (NVQ or C&G) level 3 or higher Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments - most considered Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery Any experience of SOME of the following; Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc Motivated and driven to succeed Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and companyIf this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Vicky at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
