This is an exciting permanent opportunity for skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a leading engineering manufacturer specialising in rotating machinery for the rubber mixing industry.

Who this job would suit

This role would be ideal for time-served Mechanical Fitters with NVQ Level 3 qualifications or equivalent who have experience working with rotating machinery or are eager to develop within a specialist engineering environment.

It would particularly suit hands-on engineers looking for flexible shift-based work with structured training and future development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical assembly and fitting of rotating machinery, including Banbury mixers and pelletisers

Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering schematics

Fit, align, and test mechanical components including hydraulics and pneumatics

Perform fault-finding and maintenance on specialist equipment

Travel occasionally for out-working or short-term overseas assignments
