Your Contribution

  • Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, including fault finding, diagnosis, and reporting on a computerized maintenance system.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues efficiently.
  • Support the production unit by addressing breakdowns promptly and ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Carry out preventative planned maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Operate under the Permit to Work system when required, maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Time-served Mechanical Engineer with good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience in a continuous process environment, with expertise in mechanical maintenance, compressed air systems, furnaces, heating systems, rolling mills, gearboxes, motors, and pumps.
  • Certifications such as IPAF/BAA/Gas/FLT are advantageous.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a factory or industrial background.

Shift Patterns

Dayshift (37.50 hrs) – No shift allowance (basic rate)


Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00 (8 hrs)


Friday: 07:30 – 13:00 (5.5 hrs)


Monday: 21:15 – 07:30 (9.75 hrs)


Tuesday to Thursday: 21:45 – 07:30 (9.25 hrs)


Sunday: 21:00 – 07:30 (10 hrs)


Monday: 16:00 – 21:15 (5.25 hrs)


Tuesday to Thursday: 16:00 – 21:45 (5.75 hrs)
