Pay: £42,000 - £45,000 per year to be reviewed after 3 months

Type: Full time; Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday; 7am to 5pm

Job Summary

Reporting to the Production Manager, duties to include preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as well as responding to emergency machine break downs throughout the plant. Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment on site ensuring that they are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance of all manufacturing machinery.
• Overhaul, upkeep and repair of all mechanical and pneumatic machinery, fault finding, testing, removal and/or adjustments of existing fixtures and fittings.
• Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard Produce and maintain jigs and fixtures to engineering drawings.
• Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner.
• Reliability and dependability are essential with adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Time management and communication skills are essential; ability to work on own incentive, log work and report any issues to Production Manager.
• Time served in repair and maintenance, and knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
