The role

In this role, you will design and develop electro-mechanical mechanisms for the defence sector, conducting engineering analysis, producing detailed drawings, and testing designs for conformance. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electronic and control systems, while supporting production, testing, and sales teams. Your expertise in SolidWorks and engineering analysis will be key in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.


What we want from you

  • Over 2 years of experience in an engineering role, with a focus on designing complex mechanisms and structures.
  • Proven expertise in designing systems from concept through to production, ideally within the defence sector or harsh environments.
  • Skilled in analysing loads and designing solutions for components such as gear drives, bearings, and motors.
  • Strong understanding of machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding techniques and their application in design.

For Security Clearance reasons to work this role you must have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship
