The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping the production plant running efficiently. That means:

  • Routine and preventative maintenance on key assets
  • Rapid fault finding and repairs when things go wrong
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis
  • Working across gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and pipework
  • Collaborating with a multi-skilled engineering team

What You'll Need
We're after someone who's practical, proactive, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. You'll ideally bring:

  • A mechanical qualification (ONC/HNC or NVQ level 3)
  • Strong experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of pumps, valves, bearings, and drives
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics and fluid systems
  • Bonus: any electrical appreciation or experience in FMCG
