Mechanical & Electrical CAD Designer

Hales Group are happy to be working on behalf of their client, to assist them with their search for a Mechanical and Electrical CAD Designer. Experience within the fire protection industry would be beneficial, but experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered. Hours:  Monday to Friday Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Per annum Job Purpose: The Mechanical and Electrical CAD Technician is responsible for producing accurate and compliant designs for fire alarm and fire suppression systems, supporting the wider engineering and project delivery teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all life safety system designs meet relevant standards, integrate effectively with building fire strategies, and are delivered to a high technical standard. The Mechanical and Electrical CAD Technician will contribute to estimating, tendering, and project delivery by providing technical input and producing detailed design documentation. Duties Include: 

• Work with the sales department to generate accurate, high quality CAD drawings to relevant specifications and approved standards, to be used for the quotation of products for a wide variety of building types and functions.
