We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Product Development Engineer with strong expertise in hydraulics and pressure systems to join an innovative engineering team.


This role focuses on the design, development and testing of hydraulic and pressure‑based mechanical systems, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept through to production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop hydraulic and pressure‑bearing components, including pumps, valves, manifolds, fittings and fluid systems.
  • Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, pressure calculations and technical documentation.
  • Develop reliable sealing systems such as O‑rings, gaskets, and pressure‑retaining joints.
  • Integrate hydraulic systems into liquid cooling loops, heat exchangers and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Collaborate with electrical, thermal, manufacturing and quality teams throughout development.
  • Support prototype builds, testing and validation including leak testing, pressure testing and performance analysis.
  • Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM) and support product industrialisation.
  • Ensure designs meet relevant pressure equipment standards and safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, Fluid Power Engineering or similar.
  • Experience designing hydraulic systems, pressure components, pumps, valves or manifolds.
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pressure systems and sealing design.
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge or ANSYS.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work within cross‑functional engineering teams
