You can ensure you stay safe when job searching online by visiting the JobsAware website.Mechanical Designer / Draughtsperson - responsible for producing 2D and 3D models of fabricated equipment for the offshore sector, specifically mechanical handling & reeling systems. Duties and responsibilities:* Produce all drawing types as required such as – Structural Fabrications, Machining Details, Operational Storyboards, Field/Route Detailed Engineering and Layouts, Lift Studies, etc.* Working with project teams to assist in equipment fabrication including compiling as built drawings and supporting at operational work sites as required.* Provide support to all internal departments as required with draughting services.* Actively promote, utilise and conform with the Internal Work Request process to ensure a detailed audit trail exists associated with the tasks worked on.* Actively employ self-checking on all drawings.* Challenge designs and input parameters to ensure fit for purpose, robust and cost effective solutions are being delivered.* Ensure that applicable lessons learnt from previous work scopes have been captured and applied to current tasks to mitigate the risk of re-occurrence.
