Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Up to £45,000

Overview:

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in the full mechanical design lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through to prototyping, testing, and production handover.

My client works on building Electro-Mechanical Systems that are being used globally.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designing innovative mechanical products from concept to manufacture
  • Collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines
  • Creating concept designs based on customer and project requirements
  • Building and testing prototypes to validate performance

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within a product development environment
  • Strong CAD skills with experience in prototyping and testing
  • Experience Manufacturing and Designing Products and Components using processes such as; Plastic Injection Moulding, Sheet Metal Fabrication & CNC Machining.
