What You Will Do:

  • Assemble mechanical sub‑systems such as frames, chassis structures, brackets, housings, and drivetrain components.
  • Install mechanical fixings, including bolts, inserts, rivets, and threaded fasteners, ensuring they meet torque and specification requirements.
  • Perform accurate alignment, adjustment, and calibration of moving parts to guarantee smooth operation.
  • Read, interpret, and work from mechanical drawings, exploded diagrams, and build instructions.
  • Conduct mechanical checks, including alignment tests, torque verification, and tolerance inspections.
  • Collaborate with electro‑mechanical technicians and production teams to ensure efficient workflow and provide feedback on potential improvements.

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, manufacturing, or a related engineering environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, mechanical measurement tools such as calipers and torque wrenches, and basic workshop equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship.
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to working effectively within a team.

Your work as a Mechanical Assembly Technician will directly support the development of precision weeding and scouting equipment, making a significant impact on the sustainability and efficiency of agriculture.
