Mechanical & Electrical Site Manager

Residential Development | Retirement Living & Apartments


Location: Marlow


Rate/Salary: £80,000 - £90,000


We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Site Manager to support the delivery of a high-quality residential development comprising retirement living accommodation and apartment blocks.


Working with a leading main contractor, you will oversee M&E installation, coordination and commissioning to ensure services are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day M&E site activities
  • Coordinate mechanical & electrical subcontractors
  • Monitor installation quality and compliance
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme milestones
  • Support commissioning, testing and handover processes
  • Ensure compliance with H&S, QA and building regulations
  • Attend site coordination and progress meetings
  • Liaise with project managers, design teams and client representatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on residential or mixed-use projects
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building services systems
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site coordination
  • Understanding of commissioning and handover processes
  • Ability to work within main contractor programmes and reporting structures
  • SMSTS / SSSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • Strong H&S awareness

Desirable Experience

  • Retirement living or care facilities
  • Apartment or high-spec residential developments
  • Experience with plantrooms and life safety systems
  • Commissioning and compliance documentation
