The role is primarily based at Harper Adams University's new hub in Telford, Shropshire. The successful candidate will:

  • Develop teaching in Mechatronic Engineering for undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students;
  • Foster relationships with industrial partners;
  • Pursue research aligned with our Agri-Tech Research Centre.

This position involves engaging with students' academic and professional development through innovative learning programs, developing relationships with employers and partners, and contributing to university research and outreach. The role may require working outside normal hours and traveling within the UK and abroad.

If not already a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, the appointee is expected to attain this within three years, with support and funding from the university.
