A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Mechanical Engineer engineer to work on an exciting contract in the Stratford.

Purpose

To lead on day to day operations of the day shift carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to building systems within contracted area of responsibility.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
  • Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the building are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. These reactive calls to also include concessionary stores and fabric related items.
  • Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
  • Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.

Experience (Essential)

  • Experience of maintaining tight humidity & temperature control conditioned environments.
  • General all-round knowledge of Heating & Ventilation / Air Conditioning and building support systems and their methods of control. xlqdzyr
  • Experience on CAFM system
  • Experience of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria.

Education And Training

Formally trained in a mechanical engineering discipline (e.g. HVAC, Plumbing) to City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 2
