What are you going to do?

AB Texel UK are a large, well-established agricultural bulk transport company who are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV / Trailer mechanic to assist our growing team.

Our mechanics play an important part in the process of maintaining a ‘second to none’ specialist transport fleet.

If you’re a vehicle/trailer mechanic, you could be the person we’re looking for to join our growing team. Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced mechanic, if you’re dedicated to providing the best possible service and can maximise use of technical knowledge and skills to achieve effective, safe service and repair of our fleet, then at AB Texel UK you will fit right in!

  • You will have a technical qualification, or proven experience in repairing and maintaining HGV vehicles and trailers.
  • Working knowledge of Hydraulic systems and electrical motors.
  • Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible attitude and a willingness to learn new skills to effectively undertake the role.
  • HGV licence is an advantage but not essential

    What shift are you going to work?

  • Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:30, Saturdays 07:30 – 13:00 as part of a rota, Sundays as required.
  • On call and out of hours as part of a rota.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: £18.91-£23.37 per hour

  • HGV Mechanic / Technician: 1 year (preferred)

    Licence/Certification:
