JOB VACANCY - HEYSHAM - LA3 3PP

FULL TIME HGV FITTER/MECHANIC WANTED

*Attractive Salary to be discussed upon application*

*Company vehicle to right candidate*

*We are looking for qualified Vehicle Mechanics/Technicians

*Based at heysham, LA3 3PP

The Role:.

  1. Mechanical repairs, servicing and fault finding on commercial vehicles.

  2. Carry out vehicle inspections, diagnostic fault finding along with mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs.

  3. Complete repairs to a high standard and efficiently within timelines, in accordance with manufacture procedures.

    4.Ensure job cards and relevant paperwork is completed accurately.

  4. Maintain a clean and tidy workshop environment, following health and safety practices.

    Essential Criteria

  5. Candidates will be NVQ Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Repair (or equivalent qualification/time served)

  6. Previous vehicle mechanic/technician experience within the commercial vehicle/trailer industry.

  7. High standard of workmanship and ability to work efficiently.

  8. Good attitude and a time-conscious individual.

  9. A full valid driving licence

  10. Experience with vehicle diagnostics and fault finding is preferred

  11. A HGV licence desirable or we will put the right candidate through your hgv licence if wanted
