Role Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV/LGV Mechanic for a full-time, on-site position in Bonnybridge. The role involves performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a range of heavy vehicles and equipment. The mechanic will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Additional responsibilities include accurate record-keeping and collaboration with the maintenance team to maintain the efficiency and reliability of the fleet.


Qualifications

  • Experience in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair
  • Ability to work with Heavy Equipment and perform troubleshooting tasks
  • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle and mechanical systems
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or vehicle maintenance
  • Proficiency in adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Prior experience in the construction or demolition industry is advantageous
  • Valid HGV or LGV license is preferred
