The position is based at a motor vehicle apprentice training centre in Nottingham.

Are you a fully qualified and time served Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/HGVTechnician? Could you be interested in aHeavy Vehicle Mechanics Workshop Technician/Trainee Tutor position? We are looking for an experienced candidate from industry that is interested in working in an education setting as a technician.

Teacher training can be provided if you wish to progress from a workshop technician into a tutor.

Package and Benefits:- £37,200 Starting Salary £40,000
- £45,000 Teacher Salary Scale if you choose to progress later Full teacher training and qualification provided Pension 33 Days Holiday Essential experience and qualifications:-
- You must be a fully Qualified technician with a level 3 qualification.

- A minimum of 5 years working in industry.

- A keen interest to work in education.

Job Description:- Full Time Hours Monday to Friday.

Permanent Contract.

Maintain the workshop areas Employ safe working practices and comply with relevant Health and Safety regulations.

Maintain and replenish First Aid boxes throughout the designated workshops Give practical support and delivery of workshop sessions Maintain an inventory of all materials and equipment Carry out regular maintenance of the tools, equipment and the workshop.
