Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)£25,000 - £26,000 + Development Plan + Training + Progression + BenefitsFailsworth, Manchester

Are you a Graduate Mechanical Engineer looking to kickstart your career in a design-based role, with full internal training on Building Services Engineering for a long-standing, family-feel company?

Do you want to break into the Data Centre industry, for a highly specialised consultancy with roughly 200 staff across the UK?

In this office-based role you will be delivering high value projects, by working hands-on with design and overseeing budgets and timescales. This will involve designing HVAC, hot & cold water, plus fire & sprinkler systems for Data Centres. You will be given internal coaching through shadowing experienced Engineers in the business.

This UK-based company has evolved from an electrical contractor into a modern business focused on innovative technology solutions, specialising in the design, build, and maintenance of critical infrastructure. This role would suit a Mechanical Engineering Graduate looking to begin a career within building services, for a company who will truly invest into their development for a long-term career.The Role:

  • Working on mechanical designs, specifications, and attending site meetings
  • Involved with HVAC, hot & cold water, plus fire & sprinkler systems for Data Centres
  • 70% design work, whilst overseeing projects including budgets and timescales
  • Full on-the-job training provided, along with external courses
  • Hybrid working available, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week with flexible working
