Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer

Duration: 6 Months Rolling

Location: Yeovil (On Site)

Rate: Negotiable on experience (Outside IR35)

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Design Engineer to develop IoT-enabled compliance hardware. The role focuses on circuit and PCB design, prototyping, and compliance testing, while working closely with firmware and mechanical teams to deliver reliable, production-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits, PCBs, and power systems.
  
  
• Produce schematics, layouts, BOMs, and test documentation.
  
  
• Integrate wireless communication interfaces such as LoRa, BLE, or Wi-Fi.
  
  
• Support prototype assembly, validation testing, and transition to volume manufacture.
  
  
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams for seamless integration.
  
  Requirements
  
  
• Proven PCB design experience (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, or Allegro).
  
  
• Strong understanding of circuit design, power management, and IoT hardware.
  
  
• Knowledge of compliance testing and certification processes.
  
  
• Contract or freelance availability, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
