Looking for a new challenge? Enjoy working with children? NHS Grampian’s Homecare Team are looking for flexible, caring, enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers to join their team for the Moray Area. A full comprehensive programme of training and support will be provided with continual professional development throughout your career with our team.


Job Details

We wish to enhance our current team to enable children with exceptional healthcare needs to be cared for in their own home, educational setting or hospital. This post comprises day and night shifts 365 days a year. The post holder would be expected to be flexible in their working hours. Our families live in the geographical area of NHS Grampian covering Laurencekirk, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Elgin, Dufftown and all towns and villages in between. The expectation is that all staff have the ability to work in all packages.


You must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a car for work.


Please note – if this post operates within Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone, you will be responsible for all costs associated with entering.


Responsibilities

  • Provide care to children with exceptional healthcare needs in their own home, educational setting or hospital.
  • Support families and healthcare professionals as required.
  • Work day and night shifts 365 days a year.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours covering all packages.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to a car for work.

Additional Information for Candidates

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
