Credit Control Team Lead (12-Month FTC)

£45,000-£55,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced CreditTeam Lead to join a dynamic finance shared services environment on a12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong people leadership skills and a passion for delivering operational excellence within an Invoice-to-Cash function.
As the Credit Team Lead, you will play a critical role in driving service performance, developing team capability, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and embedding continuous improvement initiatives across the function.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Invoice-to-Cash team, setting clear goals and performance objectives.
- Ensure excellent service delivery across regional stakeholders by managing workloads, priorities and team resources effectively.
- Build strong relationships with internal customers and key stakeholders, proactively resolving issues and driving service improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, helping embed best practice and identify process efficiencies.
- Monitor KPIs and service levels, ensuring processes are standardised, documented and consistently delivered.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, legal requirements and financial controls to minimise business risk.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records, escalating any areas of concern.
- Oversee key activities including:
- Accounts receivable management
- Cash application
- Collections and dispute resolution
- Customer relationship management

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience within anInvoice-to-Cash (I2C) environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of finance systems and business processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work both strategically and at a detailed operational level.
- Experience interpreting and managing operational and control risks.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, alongside Oracle experience.
- High levels of integrity and professionalism.
Desirable
- Experience leading teams within a shared services environment.
- Additional language skills.
- Accounting, Finance or Business Administration qualifications.
