Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide construction and installation.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Support commissioning and handover processes in collaboration with the client and project team.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, escalating where necessary.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with vendors and supply chain to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
  • Attend meetings, take and issue minutes and records, and liaise with the client as required.
  • Familiarise and maintain the IMS relevant to the site works.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in site engineering, preferably in industrial or process environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and health & safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • CSCS card and relevant safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid) are desirable.
