We are seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our bank support team and work at Fitzwilliam Hospital, a leading independent hospital in Peterborough.


Location

Fitzwilliam Hospital is situated in the quiet landscaped grounds of the Milton Estate in Peterborough and offers both private and NHS services.


Responsibilities

  • Provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning for post‑operative orthopaedic inpatients within a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Assess, treat and clinically manage patients following orthopaedic surgery.
  • Create and deliver post‑operative rehabilitation programmes in line with clinical protocols.
  • Work collaboratively within an MDT to support safe, effective discharge planning.
  • Run post‑operative or rehabilitation classes as required by line management.
  • Manage a caseload including NHS and private patients (site dependent).
  • Maintain high‑quality documentation and use digital systems (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Current member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • Experience working with inpatient orthopaedic post‑op patients.
  • Proficient at running relevant post‑op and other classes required by line manager.
  • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office.

Additional Requirements

Position is subject to background and Enhanced/DBS checks.
