Job Title: Locum Band 7 Respiratory Physiotherapist

Hours: Part Time – Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 4:00pm (26 hours per week)


An excellent opportunity is available for a Locum Band 7 Respiratory Physiotherapist to join a respiratory service in Milton Keynes. This ongoing, part-time role allows you to utilise your specialist respiratory expertise while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy that locum work provides. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality respiratory care within a supportive clinical environment.

What you will do:


Deliver high-quality respiratory physiotherapy assessments and treatments to inpatients, with a focus on acute respiratory care.


Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes, including ICU input where appropriate and within your scope of experience.


Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans to ensure effective and evidence-based interventions.


Provide expert advice and education to patients, families, and staff regarding respiratory management and care plans.


Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives, sharing clinical insights to enhance patient care.


Requirements:


A minimum of 2 years’ experience in respiratory physiotherapy, ideally within inpatient and ICU settings.


Car driver preferred to support flexibility when travelling between sites if required.
