IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER / IT SUPPORT ENGINEER - AZURE, SERVERS, OFFICE 365

We are seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Technical Specialist to join our global client. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and deployment of hybrid cloud infrastructure projects. This role requires a generalist understanding of Cloud (Azure / M365) as well as on-premise infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities and Skills:

Planning and Implementation:
- Design, and execution of hybrid cloud infrastructure projects in alignment with industry best practices.
- Facilitate architecture discussions and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional and global teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, offer technical insights, and communicate architectural solutions clearly and effectively.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions creating HLD, LLD and standards for operational teams to align to.
- Transition of new solutions and technologies into the operations teams for BAU management.
Infrastructure Expertise:
- Design and deploy Hybrid cloud solutions using a mixture of on-premise and cloud technologies.
- Azure - Azure AD, AD Connect, Enterprise and App Registrations, Conditional access Policies, Landing zones, Subscriptions, Management Groups, Policies, Virtual machines, Storage Accounts (Blob, Files), SQL PaaS, PIM.
- Microsoft 365 – Licensing E3/5, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Security and compliance (Purview).
- On-premise – Microsoft Server - AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, Virtualization -VMware/Nutanix, Backup Systems (Commvault), MS SQL, SolarWinds.
- Passion for scripting, automation.
- Generalist background.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience of On-premise and Azure networking - Express Route, Azure Firewall, NSG's, VWAN etc.
- MS Intune and SCCM experience.
- IAC experience.
- Datacenter migrations and disaster recovery planning.
- Possession of relevant certifications.
Personal Attributes:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
Proactive attitude and ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes
