We are delighted to be recruiting for the following position on behalf of our client based at London Heathrow Airport. This is a unique opportunity to join a state-of-the-art engine overhaul facility and benefit from industry-leading training.


To be considered for this position, you should be an experienced aircraft engine mechanic and hold the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.


Job Title: Engine Support Mechanic
Location: Heathrow Airport
Job Type: Permanent, Fulltime
Shift: 5-5-4 plus shift premium and London weighting allowance

Scope of Role

As a Global Engine Support Mechanic, you will perform and certify a range of on-wing and off-wing engine maintenance and inspection tasks in accordance with approved maintenance data and Part-145 regulatory requirements, while ensuring full compliance with the policies and procedures outlined in the company's Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).


Responsibilities

  • Adherence to company HSE, compliance and quality standards, policies and procedures
  • Completion and release to service of critical engine maintenance and inspection activities
  • Compliance to 145 regulations and approved maintenance data
  • Accurate completion of maintenance records and documentation
  • Represent the company in a customer focused environment
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively within muti-functional and diverse teams
  • Obtain the relevant competencies, approvals and passes required to deliver the role

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 24 months experience of aircraft and or engine line & base maintenance / MRO activities
  • Experience of working on Rolls-Royce, GE, CFM / LEAP engines
  • Experience of issuing ARC / release to service documentation is preferable
  • Experience of carrying out Engine Borescope inspections is preferable
