GlobalForce Resource Ltd. is working in partnership with a leading Volvo Dealership in Australia to recruit Volvo HGV/Truck/Bus Mechanics. The positions are based in NSW and QLD.

Other dealership experience will be considered.


If you are a qualified and experienced HGV/Truck/Bus Technician with experience working within a Volvo dealership and are considering relocating, this could be your opportunity to secure a position with a leading Volvo dealership and have a clear pathway to gaining residency in Australia. Experience working in a DAF, Mercedes, MAN or Scania dealership workshop will also be considered. As will candidates who have experience working in a major fleet workshop.


Successful applicants will be trade qualified with 3-5 years post qualification experience ideally within a Volvo Dealership.


Candidate Profile……

  • Trade Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
  • Ideally suited to a HGV/Truck mechanic working in a Volvo dealership. Experience working in a DAF, Mercedes, MAN or Scania dealership workshop will also be considered. As will candidates who have experience working in a major fleet workshop.
  • Minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic PC Skills
  • Ability to work pro-actively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to provide the best possible service through a professional image and a “customer first” ethic.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety standards.
  • Understanding of quality controls
  • Embrace training and professional development opportunities for continuing improvement.
  • Have a positive attitude and will be a self-motivated team player.


Positions Details……


  • Diagnose, Repair and Maintenance of trucks.
  • Use your knowledge and skills to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem.
  • Using correct tools for the job install parts, equipment, wiring or programs to meet specifications.
  • Performing routine maintenance on vehicles, determining when and what kind of work is required.
  • Carry out service and repairs to vehicles in accordance with the times set by the Service Manager
  • Keep all records up to date and in a timely manner.
  • To keep your work knowledge of vehicles up to date and to be able to carry out servicing, repairs, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment.
  • Make full use of service manuals and specialist tools.
  • Ensure a culture of safe working and a safe environment for all staff
  • Raise concerns or actively address any health and safety issue identified
  • Attend and apply all required safety training
  • Follow all instructions given for working safely
  • Protect own safety and health and not adversely affect the health of others
  • Manage risk and compliance in area, including ongoing identification of material risks
  • Monitor and ensure adequate risk management and compliance processes are in place
  • Ensure the senior management and your team have a good understanding of the materials risk
  • Implement and manage controls to manage risk
  • Ensure key legislative requirements are met and changes to legislation communicated
  • Promote a company-wide risk aware culture



Remuneration Package……

  • Competitive salary $80K to $100,000K AUS Dollars depending on skills and experience, 12% Superannuation contribution, Bonus & Overtime
  • 4 weeks annual leave

  • 4 - 6 weeks accommodation on arrival
