Great Central Auto have been in the business of motor cars for over 35 years at our Leicester Road site in Rugby. We represent the Vauxhall and Bosch brands and also sell all makes of used cars. We are a local company serving our local community and have a great reputation for quality and service.


We have opportunities for Motor Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join our experienced team. If you've got 4 years or more experience we'd like to hear from you. We offer a competitive salary with bonus. Our facility is modern and well-equipped and we offer high quality training for all candidates to further their qualifications.


Responsibilities
  • Routine maintenance
  • Engine and gear box repairs
  • Clutches and cambelts
  • General diagnostic work
  • Electric and hybrid
  • Carrying out MOT Tests

Requirements
  • City and Guilds Level 2 and or 3 or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician of at least 4 years or experience working in the Automotive sector as a Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Auto Electrician.
  • MOT Tester
  • Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we'd be interested in talking to you.
  • Must be able to work independently and to a schedule
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and accuracy of work
  • Hold a UK driving licence
