About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician with proven competence working on vans and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). You will play a key role in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles to high standards, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance at all times. This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys variety and has strong mechanical and diagnostic ability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and HGVs

  • Perform routine inspections including brake systems, steering, suspension, and transmissions
  • Complete accurate job cards, service records, and reports

  • Support apprentice technicians or colleagues as required

About You

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Commercial Mechanic
  • Hands‑on experience servicing and repairing vans and HGVs
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable using electronic diagnostic tools and workshop systems
