Used Vehicle Preparation Mechanic

at our Dumfries BMW/MINI branch.

We're on the lookout for skilled mechanics with at least two years' experience to work on an exciting range of makes and models. Whether it's servicing, repairs, or maintenance, you'll be part of a talented team, expanding your expertise and gaining industry-recognised qualifications.

We offer:
£37,000 - £40,000

DOE plus benefits
Additional opportunity to earn up to

£9,000

every three years in performance bonuses- terms and conditions apply.
All overtime paid at time and a half
Starting from 33 days' annual leave (with room to grow)

Day-to-day duties
Conducting vehicle inspections and diagnostics
Recording inspections digitally
Performing routine servicing and maintenance tasks
Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and customer handovers
Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards
Maintaining accurate records of work completed

What we're looking for:
Experience

- Minimum of

two years

in a vehicle workshop environment
Qualifications

- At least

Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Skills

- Strong understanding of servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
Team player

- Ability to work independently and alongside others
Attention to detail

- A proactive approach to every task
Full UK driving licence
