An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical & Software Sales Manager to join a fast-growing technology company rolling out a cutting-edge Cloud-based SaaS platform. This platform enables customers to remotely monitor and update equipment in real time, transforming the way their products operate.
This is a high-impact role with the potential to shape the next phase of business growth. You will be at the forefront of technical sales, driving Cloud (SaaS) adoption, supporting complex system sales, and working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless product integration.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical sales activities, focusing on Cloud (SaaS) platforms and complex system sales.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to support the transition from older to next-generation products.
  • Arrange sales visits, product demonstrations, and handle technical sales enquiries.
  • Work with the sales team to onboard customers onto Cloud-based platforms and provide ongoing support.
  • Identify new business opportunities to expand technical sales across emerging products.
  • Provide sales reports and track the rollout of Cloud-based solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advise on how software advancements can benefit customers.
  • Support the Sales Director in developing and executing technical and software sales strategies.
    What We’re Looking For:
    ✔ Proven track record in sales and customer management at a senior level.
    ✔ Experience selling Cloud (SaaS) solutions, ideally within engineering or manufacturing industries.
    ✔ Strong IT and Cloud technology expertise, with an ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
    ✔ Knowledge of hardware integration, including serial, Ethernet, and other communication networks.
    ✔ Excellent commercial acumen with strong analytical and business development skills.
    ✔ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    ✔ Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a dynamic technical environment.
    ✔ Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
    Desirable Skills (Not Essential):
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and on-vehicle electrical systems.
  • Fluency in French, Spanish, or German would be a plus.
