Your new role:
You'll take the lead on mechanical design across a range of projects, managing client relationships, overseeing delivery, and mentoring junior engineers. Whether you're stepping into a senior role or already operating at principal level, you'll have the autonomy to shape design strategy, contribute to business development, and influence project outcomes. The role offers a blend of technical leadership, client-facing work, and team collaboration.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy setting
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, low-energy design, and relevant UK regulations
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion
  • Chartered status or working towards it (CEng or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
